The Artist

"I make my masks so that they are beautiful and striking no matter where they are displayed, whether at home, in a gallery, or while people wear them. It gives me joy to make my masks not only beautiful to behold but also pleasant and interesting to touch and wear by constructing them with soft faux furs and other tactile materials. My masks are unique in that, unlike other contemporary masks, they may be worn both as masks, and as beautiful hats when they are tilted up from the face. Yet when one of my lovingly crafted and painted creations is lowered to hide the wearer's visage, they change the wearer from a person dressed as a creature into a depiction of the creature itself."
